Children's Ministry

The Children's Ministry of Spring Cypress Presbyterian Church joyfully partners with families to teach, model, and proclaim the gospel of Christ to our covenant children so that they may grow as disciples in God's kingdom.

At SCPC we value our children! We recognize and celebrate the unique place our children have in the life of our church as heirs to the covenant of grace. To that end we do a number of things to underscore the importance of our little ones in our church family.

In addition to a safe, clean, well-staffed nursery in which our youngest children are shown the love and care of our heavenly Father, we also offer an intentional Sunday School program in which our children are systematically and progressively taught the Scriptures and the key themes of the Christian faith.

In our worship services our children are active participants as they are invited to come forward for prayer and a blessing. We also offer a high-quality children’s worship option for children aged 4-8 years, although children are welcome to remain in the main worship service with their parents.
